2 cards and frame

I did the following two cards for my mom and grandma for Mother's Day. I used Both Way Blossoms for the stems with Green Galore cardstock and ink. And mixed Prima Flowers with gold SU! brads and a bit of Stardust Stickles.

In the back is the "Welcome" sign I made for my mother. It's Au Chocolat paper.

Been Busy

Sorry I haven't posted in a while! I've been very busy with non-stamping things.

Stampin' Up! just released the 2007 retired list. I'm very sad to see Roses In Winter go. It was my first set back in early 2003. I love that set but haven't used it in a while. I'm only losing 7 sets, so it's not too bad. I need to get a system together to separate current from retired so I don't have to keep checking every time I want to use something!

I need to order boxes and boxes of Cool Caribbean paper before it's gone. And a case of re-inkers :) I just adore that color. It's so perfect with Delight In Life.

I ordered some coasters this morning. Once I play with them, I'll post pictures :) I have a perfect use for my new Palette O Prints and Au Chocolat paper!

A few items

Here are a few things I've recently made.

This is a milk carton that was made at a Stampers In Stitches meeting. I'm pretty sure it's Marigold Morning paper.

And here is a coaster calendar I made at my upline Carol's Stamp-a-Palooza:

Boxes

I love getting Stampin Up boxes in the mail! I got three boxes from them yesterday for my workshop. Because my workshop was so big, Sell-A-Bration, and my own small order, I got 11 stamp sets! And my Demo kit is supposed to be here tomorrow!

eta: I tried the Crop-A-Dile and it sets like a dream! I never wanted to try eyelets before, but I think they will be in my next order now!

Crop-A-Dile

After hearing so much about the Crop-A-Dile at Splitcoast Stampers, I had to go find one. My local Michaels did not have one, so I sent my mom on a search. She found out at her Michaels. It's heavy and looks awkward, but it's a dream to punch with. And quiet! She dropped it off to me at work, so I will have to wait till I get home to try it with an eyelet. I have some Stampin Up eyelets at home somewhere...

Yay!

I was busy this weekend, so didn't have a chance to check the email I am using for Stampin Up. I checked it this morning, and as of Saturday, I am a demonstrator! Yay! And I got another email this morning saying that my kit has been shipped! Yay!

Sell-a-bration

I am loving Sell-a-bration! From my first (and only) party as a hostess, I get three sets. Then my mother ordered enough for one and she's giving me hers. So that's 4 sets. And I am becoming a demo during this time, so I get a free $39.95 set from that, along with the Paisley set from the Spring Mini! I'm more than doubling my collection in one month!

I know I can't use some of these sets for workshops, but that's perfectly fine since I'm going to do some craft fairs this year!
